Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine have similarities, but they are distinct.

Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine have a lot in common. Both are ancient holistic healing systems that treat the whole person, rather than just the symptoms of a disease. They both emphasize that one's overall health is more important than fixing a specific problem. In fact, they believe that improving your general health will cure any disease you might have. Both also use herbs and other natural remedies as part of their healing approach, and both emphasize the importance of eating healthy foods. 

Both Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine also believe in the mind-body connection, meaning that your mental state can affect your physical well being. For example, anger creates heat in your body which can cause digestive problems like an upset stomach or heartburn. Therefore, controlling your emotions is an important part of healing with either system.

Both philosophies are also based on the concept of Yin and Yang. These opposing energies make up everything in the universe. They coexist in a constant state of flux; Yin is darkness, cold, and female while Yang is brightness, warmth, and male. Both are essential to our existence.
